The Old Cottage
The Old Cottage is a characterful 15th-century Grade II listed building situated in the village street. It was originally part of a small Medieval Hall House - built when Henry VIII's father was on the throne - and has many exposed oak beams and a lovely Tudor inglenook fireplace.
Eastling is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Downs and is perfect for walking, cycling and riding. It is ideally situated for visiting all Kent has to offer - including Canterbury Cathedral and City and the beautiful Leeds Castle. We are also a perfect "pit-stop" for trips to and from Europe being only 20 minutes from Ashford International (EuroStar) and about 40 minutes from Dover.
The town and old port of Faversham (home of the country's oldest brewer Shepherd Neame) is only 4.9 miles and has a frequent direct train service to London and a new Hi-speed service to Stratford International in the heart of The Olympic Park for London 2012.
The village pub - The Carpenters Arms - is close by, offering good food and a warm and friendly welcome.
Facilities: A comfortable double room with king-size bed and private bathroom at £60 per night including full English breakfast. We also have second, large double room with king-size bed/or Twin beds available (sharing the bathroom): so we can accommodate two adults and two children or four family or friends at £120 per night including full English breakfast.
Use of sitting room and garden; breakfast times to suit; special diets catered for with notice; weekly rates available on request; off road parking for one car.
Please note: The Old Cottage has pets - but the bedrooms are pet-free.
